What Is The Story?

Shining a light on the Victorian era's strict societal pressures and juxtaposed prosperity, the production's 100+ strong ensemble cast, Carolina Ballet Theatre principal dancers and special guest performers from the Georgia and Charlotte Ballets bring Clara's story to vivid life. Taking an adventure through Greenville, the heroine and her Nutcracker Prince whirl around beloved landmarks and city scenery, whilst the fearsome Mouse King and enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy wait in the wings.
